I studied at Governor Stirling Senior High School. I completed 3rd year High School. I have worked around Midland for 6 months and then moved up North to work on Sheep and Cattle Stations. Left the station at 21 years of age and moved to Wyndham where I obtained and Internal Combustion Engine Drivers Certificate. This enabled me to operate diesel power stations. I worked at various Power Stations throughout the North West and ended up in Carnarvon. I worked at the Power Station within Carnarvon for 12 years. I then moved down to Perth and this became the beginning of my Truck Driving Career. 

I hold a current MC and R drivers license.

I own my own company named McShanes Transport. I have 2 prime Movers and a Tri Axle Tipper Trailer. I also currently employ 1 other truck driver.
