I am currently in the final stages of completing my Graduate Diploma in primary teaching with the end in sight and I have really enjoyed the process. I began this programme after returning from a year and a half working in Latin America both as an English teacher and an actress with an educational theatre company.

Prior to that travel, I was working in a variety of temporary positions in Melbourne while I thought about what I wanted to do with my life and spent a lot of my time honing my improvisation and performance skills with Impro Melbourne.

I graduated from the Auckland University of Technology with a Communications degree, majoring in television in 2003. However, I soon became aware that this was not an industry that I was interested in staying in after 18 months of contract work for a variety of different companies. I found that the work was not ideally suited to my talents or interests.
