To whom it may concern,

I, Shane Prettner, am looking to join a team of mechanics in the Darwin area or mining. I am a recently qualified (Januaury) Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, with experience in fleet maintenance and breakdowns with Toll Fleet.

While completing my apprenticeship I was awarded 'Best Work Practice' from TAFE NSW, and was also chosen to compete in WorldSkills Australia and finished 3rd in the Sydney area. I was also running for NSW apprentice of the year but unfortunately moved away before a result. I am a very motivated, friendly hard worker and always keen to develop and apply my skills.
