Overview

I completed my High School certifcate in 1995 and in 1996 I completed an Advanced certificate in Health, Fitness and Sports Training through TAFE. This enabled me to work at a local fitness centre running and organising fitness classes for children. In 1997 I achieved a Diploma in Remedial Massage  through The Hunter College of Natural Therapies and starting my own business as a Remedial Massage Therapist. After a successful 5 years I sold the business to start a family. I have had casual work since this working as a receptionist in a chiropractic clinic, then moving on to my current employment as a Medical Receptionist in a busy medical centre.

Achievements

In 2001  I was nominated for Junior Business Woman of the Year in the Maitland area for my success in my remedial massage business, which I won the runner up award. 

In 2001 I was selected as the NSW Mens Artistic Gymnastics Team massage therapist for the National Championships held in Adelaide, South Australia.
