Detailed Description:DUTIES:

-Manually sorting mail into rounds which involves examining each item of mail and allocating it into an appropriate round or sequenced street address. A ‘round’ is a local geographical region bounded by and including a set of streets. It is important that this component of sorting is completed efficiently and accurately so that our Posties can meet our service standards.
Operate loading and unloading equipment such as pallet jacks and stackers to receive and dispatch large mail volumes.
Continued employment depends on developing and maintaining relevant skills, as well as meeting conduct, diligence and efficiency requirements. Continued employment is also subject to a three month probationary period during which time you will need to demonstrate an ability to meet certain performance standards (for permanent Full Time and Part Time positions)
