My name is Harriet Carnaby.
I have just finished a degree of Classical Studies ( Bachelor of Arts) at the University of Canterbury. I also have achieved NCEA Level 1,2,and 3.
I have work experience at the Lincoln Library/Selwyn District Council Service Centre as a cleaner for two and a half years. I also have retail experience working at the Christchurch Gondola and the Christchurch Tram as a sales assistant and then an assistant manager. I worked at this job for just over three years. I also casually work for my fathers company GA Carnaby and Associates as a recptionist/ personal assistant. I have been partly trained as a barista but did not finish training due to going on my Overseas Experience.
Skills I possess include vacuuming and dusting, administration duties such as answering telephones, making appoinments and typing up professional documents. Retail skills include administraion such as sales graphs, wages, rosters, annual reports,stocktake reports. Sales experience includes making sales, pricing, creating pricing, opening and closing of a retail store, creating displays, ordering of new products. I also have skills in cash, EFTPOS, cheques, credit card, and layby sales. I have also ordered and managed consignment departments. I have a vast knowledge of MYOB and Microsoft Office which includes MSword ans MSexcel.
