I left home and school at the beginning of year 10 when i was fifteen to work on stations. Something i do not regret and enjoyed hugely. It gave me a deep apreciation of hard work as a team and individually. it also taught me you can achieve anything you put your mind to. I learnt to trust in myself and any decisions i made, helping me develope leadership skills that previous employers have found helpful. placing me in positions of responsability and authority that i mostly did not want, but indevered to do well at regardless. Because of this i have performed varied duties and am confident around machinery, computers and work collegues.

I worked for three and a half years on a seed research stationand as a Seed Production Assistant and lernt about the complex cross breeding of vegitables. My roll was to supervise the grow out production trials of hybrids that showed promise for the comercial farmers in various states and weather conditions.i was responsible for a team of up to 12 workers perfoming various tasks from harvesting seed and crops, planting, contamination controll and breeding, up keep of pollinating insects and other tasks to numerous to count. Of all the positions i have held this was the most challenging rewarding interesting and diverse. Unfortunetly i had to leave for personal reasons but on good terms and no i can have a job back if i ever move into the area again.
