Upon completion of Year 12 I travelled to North Queensland and worked in the hospitality industry. In 1994 I joined the Army and worked in the Corp of Signals and later transfered to the Corp of Administration. After 10 years of service within the Defence I discharged and worked for a further two years as a Defence civilian in Administration. 

During my time as a Defence civilian I was awarded the Australia Day Medallion for my work in restructuring the Administrative system within the organisation I was working in.

I have exceptional time management skills due to the work I undertook within defence as well as being a mother to three children. I am currently studying my Bachelor of Nursing Degree at Queensland University of Technology. I am currently in my second year of a three year degree.
