I have worked in Retail for almost 15 years now. In the 7 years I was employed at McDonalds I went from Trainee to Assistant Manager. During this time I performed all areas of the business to the best of my ability and was highly effective in managing staff and stock in a FMCG environment.

After leaving McDonalds I was employed as an Assistant Manager at Liquorland. After working for several locations in the Northern Sydney Area I am now currently employed as the Store Manager of the St Ives Liquorland. This role also allows me to run all aspects of a FMCG shop.

I am now looking to broaden my experiences and further my career developement. I am extremely passionate about the retail segment, and am extremely keen to step back from the front line of customer service to learn all other aspects of the retail sector.

During my time at McDonalds Warriewood, I began as casual staff, working around my school schedule. Along the way my development in the store saw me promoted to Crew Trainer, Site Safety Leader and, upon completion of my studies I was promptly promoted to Assistant Manager. Along the way I received two Employee of the Quarter Awards in 2001.

I left McDonalds to challenge myself in an Assistant Managers roll in Liquorland, one of the biggest suppliers of alcoholic beverages in Australia. I worked as an Assistant in the Narraweena and Warringah Mall stores, before being promoted to Store Manager at St Ives North and am currently managing the St Ives Drive Thru location. I find this roll challenging, educational and fun. It allows me to learn on the job,about the wine and beer industries, which I am deeply passionate about.
