i had 20 years as a repairs and maintance operativte with the local govenment where i was a carpentry supervisor running a team of mixed tradesmen we were all expected to do each others trades as well to a very high standard.examples of these would be joinery, pluming, plastering, wall and floor tiling and bricklaying.

after this i was promoted to buildings inspector where we would have to inspect repairs to existing properties and cost the repair order materials and shedule the works to be done.other roles to this job were dealing with complaints refuse colection shedules and parks maintanance.

after leaving this job i went self employed as a roof carpenter which led to doing 1st and second fix work on new a nd existing buildings.before comiong to Australia i was a foreman carpenter for a large carpentry firm in the UK building new schools offices army barracks airport extensions and hotels.

since being in Australia i have worked for centurion garage doors installing and repairng garage doors.

i am a qualified carpenter with a mix trade background i have a lot of experience in renovation work such as loft conversions, extensions and new kitchens/bathrooms.i have a craft certificate in carpentry a advanced certificate in carpentry and a high national certificate building studies.
