Detailed Description:In my role previous to my current role at Railways Credit Union, I was a Sales and Service Supervisor at the NAB. My role was basically to run the branch, while the Manager focused on her Home Lending portfolio. My duties were very involved, managing both Sales and Administration, where apart from reporting, the administration consisted of Compliance. I was responsible for ensuring that we were compliant in all facets of the business – Marketing, OH&S, Procedural, Sales, Maintenance and Security. Every 3-6 months we would have internal audit reviews, and I was responsible for reporting to the Auditor on all aspects of their enquiries, and producing evidence of the information they requested. I then discussed with them their expectations and our meeting those expectations, and was focused and measured on ensuring our branch not only met the benchmark for a Pass, but continued to increase in our Compliance results every visit. We then had to report on these results and ensure that we had action plans in place to address any errors or improvement suggestions and Pass this section on the following visit. I ensured that all staff were responsible for understanding and complying with expectations, and consistently put plans in place to ensure everyone was accountable for the results, in the way of delegating tasks to aid in compliance.
We also were assigned many tasks each quarter that needed to be complied with, such as internal loan application reviews, where a senior staff member would review applications to ensure we complied, and we had certain aspects of our individual roles where a system sent tasks to us for completion each quarter, much like My Carms, so I have had experience with that type of system also.
