I am a structural design engineer, just landed in Australia on the 18th of June 2011. I am here holding a permanent resident visa wiht no restrictions regarding work.  My professional skills recognized by Engineers Australia as a Civil Engineer Technologist.

I come from Romanian, where I graduated Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, I obtained a diploma regarding construction technology. In my home country I've been working as a site engineer for 3 years and in the last 6 years I worked as a structural design engineer, designing industrial and residential buildings.

I am able to design (using dedicated software)  and draft reinforced concrete structures, steel structurres, timber structures, create 3D design models and simiulate diffeerent building behaviours base on load cases and seismic loads. Design also includes reinforced concrete elemets baring and the steels structures also includes joints design either weldes or with screws.

As major achivements I would like to underline few major projects I was involved in.

 - brand-new brick factory -  administrative buildings, clay depots, main hall, deposit zones; reinforced concrete and steel structures: design and drafting

- brand new-cereal mill - administrative buildings, cereal tower-depots, main building: a five-stories reinforced concrete structure, and 2 silos , also reinforced conrete, 25 m height; design and drafting

- residential buidling, apartaments block, 7 stories (2 underground) -reinforced concrete frames; design and drafting
