I am looking to move away from the Automotive Industry as wages are poor for the knowledge required to keep up with new technology.
Since 1993 i have spent the majority of my working time working on cars/trucks or in jobs that require some form of mechanical knowledge. Currently working at a Holden/Nissan dealership, where i have received Holden factory training, in a position as a Senior Technician, daignosing and repairing problems in a wide range of Holden and Nissan vehicles. I have experience in working on the latest diesel engines back to older diesels and some heavier diesel engines found in Kenworth trucks.
I have experience working as part of a team, supervising apprentices and working without assistance. I get along well with other people and i am comfortable working as part of a team in any position. My outlook on safety in the workplace is of a high and resonable standard. I always make sure people around me are doing thier best to uphold safety standards that thier job requires.
I finished High school in 1992 after doing year12/VCE, then moved on to T.A.F.E, to pursue a carrer in the Automotive industry, where I started Certificate II in Automotive before finding myself an apprenticeship at Knight-Patterson Holden in Maffra. Since then i have completed my apprenticeship and worked on a wide variety of vehicles in several different areas of the automotive/mechanical industries.
