– Administration Officer – Joncris Sentinel Services, Cawarral QLD.Joncris Sentinel Services is a Registered Training Organisation that focuses on training employees withinthe mining industry from Supervisor positions through to the Mines Manager and Mine Inspectors. Joncrisalso monitors mine atmospheres to ensure that the atmosphere is managed to avoid a build up ofexplosive gases. My role was to support the Administration Manager with any and all tasks required.Joncris Sentinel Services Responsibilities: The accurate inputting of mine atmosphere gas sample data into our highly sophisticated gas • analysis database. The creation and formatting of training packages as well as uploading the packages onto the • internet. The competent usage of the Microsoft Office Suite such as Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Access, • PowerPoint, Internet Explorer, Adobe Acrobat. Communicating with Management, Clients and Trainers. • Opening and secure closing of the office. • Answering the telephone in a prompt and professional manner. • Entering client details into our client database. • Attending to client queries via the telephone, email and face to face. • Assessing client assessments from a Certificate III level up to Advanced Diploma. • Typing up reports and letters as required. • Researching acts, regulations, legislations and guidelines. • Organising airfares, accommodation, car hire, training venues and client catering requirements. • Maintaining our QuickBooks accounting program including accounts payable, accounts receivable, • payroll and reporting. Inducting, guiding and training new employees. • 10 February 2004 – 30 June 2011 – Pegasus Farm - Foal ManagerPegasus Farm is an Equine Horse Nursery that focuses on nurturing quality broodmares as well asimprinting and educating their foals from birth. My role was to effectively educate the foals from their firstday or two of life and instil certain and vital traits which would stay with them for a life time. The foalswere then continually educated up to three 3 years of age when they would be sold to Australias highprofile horse trainers via the Magic Million Sales on the Gold Coast.Pegasus Farm Responsibilities: Managing the daily, weekly and monthly care of our foals, broodmares, stallions, yearlings and • weanlings. This includes, however is not limited to, educating, grooming, vaccinating, worming, bathing, farrier requirements and veterinary needs. Organising the daily feeding and watering requirements for all of our broodmares, stallions, • yearling and weanlings housed at the stud. Training and educating the foals, weanlings, yearlings, broodmares and stallions. • Identifying the need for a farriers attendance on site, arranging the farrier and his work structure • as well as supporting the farrier whilst on site. Arranging and aiding the Servicing of the broodmares by Stallions. • Manage all veterinary visits ranging from routine vaccinations, a large scope of operative • procedures, euthanasia, scans and x-rays. Applying first aid to horses as well as monitoring their progress both visually and via first aid • reports. Administer medications to mares through to foals. • Accurately completing and maintaining daily horse records. • Co-ordinating the transport for horses when necessary. • Bobcat operations and minor repairs. • Executing fencing repairs, yard maintenance and weed eradication. • Improving pastures, fertilisation as well as routine paddock maintenance. •
