Antony Ryan's Resume
Overview
I joined the Norfolk Constabulary in the United Kingdom in September 1992 after finishing High school and having two jobs working in retail and catering.
I worked in uniform performing general duties before moving onto working on a proactive unit tackling local crime. In 2000 I joined the Drugs and Serious Crime unit within Norfolk Constabulary as a surveillance operative targeting local crime syndicates,cross border criminality and national targets.. I attended and passed a national surveillance course covering all aspects of covert conventional surveillance. I was then selected to attend a Surveillance trainers course which I passed and began training officers locally and nationally at National Policing Improvement Agency training centres. I also attended and passed a Technical surveillance course covering the research, deployment,tracking and servicing of covert tracking and audio devices.
I also passed a comprehensive detectives training course covering aspects of criminal investigation, and then became a mentor for newly qualified detectives.
In 2008 I emigrated to Western Australia and have been employed by the Western Australia Police. I worked for a year in general duties. I currently work as a field intelligence officer within the State Intelligence Division gathering intelligence and preparing intelligence files for operations using overt and covert methods.
