I, Branden Knight, Male and 20 years of age, am actively seeking a career in the IT industry. During my last two years of finishing Years 11 and 12 in 2007/08, I, amongst other certificates, completed a Certificate II in Information Technology. Either though I have spent most of my working life in the hospitality/retail industry, I believe I have aquired certain customer service skills that are applicable to any career path undertaken in life. As a child I vividly found myself fascinated with technology, computers in general, and I soon found myself immersed in a technological world where throughout my school life, learning computer skills was dependant on accomplishing my work tasks set for me. Therefore, I set it upon myself to continue my education with technology, thus the completion of the Certificate II, and also sometime in the future to attain a Diploma of Information Technology to put my foot more into the industry.

On my completion of my schooling, I had also attained a Certificate II in Tourism, which in turn gave my customer service skills an excellent boost and gave me an advantage in my chosen jobs. In the hospility and retail industry knowing what the customers want, their needs and their expectations plays a big part in achieving a quality product of which I, or as a team member, can be proud of. Bringing these skills and knowledge into the IT industry with my already known compuer skills, I believe that I can go along way in helping produce, maintain and be an important team player in a customer friendly environment, where quality products and quality service are essential every working day.
