My name isCarmen Ryan and I grew up on a cattle station near Goergoetown in Far north Queensland. I compleated my  Primary Education through the Cairns School of Distance Education and Then moved on to Boarding school. For my Secondary schooling I attended Blackheath and  Thornburgh College in ChartersTowers. It was here that I was able to participate in many organisations based both in the community and within the school. I recieved numerous awards including those for academic achievement, The Caltex All-Rounder  Award and an Order Of Australia Award for Community Service. In 2007 I was also awrded the Junior Citizenship Award at the Ethridge Shire Australia Day Service and the Bid O'Sullivan Teaching Scholaship from the Queenland Government. I am currently undertaking my third yar of a Batchlor of Education (Secondary)-Batchlor of Arts at James Cook University.
