I have spent the last 21 years working and owning a beautiful gift shop called Herb Circle in the Perth hills.  I am trained in perfumery, aromatherapy and love the retail environment. Running my own business as well as travelling has given me a unique opportunity to train fantastic staff and build long term customer loyalty.

Over these years I have worked with numerous till systems, payroll, and accounting packages. Product selection and visual merchandising have been a passion of mine.  Excellent customer service is what I strive for.

Working with Craftwest ( now known as FORM ) a high end contemporary craft retail shop has been a career highlight.  Representing Australian craftspeoples work to tourists and the corporate sector has given me an eye for detail, quality and craftsmanship that translates to all my purchasing choices in retail.  Having the ability to sell a $50 glass paperweight one day and then a $1800 hand turned bowl the next, has built my sales ability.

Having my own business is definately the biggest achievement in my career.  Working through the everyday challenges of running a gift store has been a constant learning experience.  Watching the industry grow and supporting local and global artisans has placed me in an ideal position to consult for product development, merchandising and an inate ability to gage a products worth in the marketplace.
