I attended grammar school in Lisburn, Northern Ireland where i obtained seven GCSE passes including Maths, English and Science from which i started in the nursing industry as a nursing auxiliary.

I worked in nursing home care catering to mental health clients, learning difficulties and the elderly for nine years in total.   Whilst in the employ of the last nursing home i worked in, i enrolled in technical college in Belfast to undertake my National Vocational Qualification III in Health and Social Care which i completed successfully.

With the new qualification I was able to apply and obtain a higher profile job in the Belfast Trust located in the Belfast City Hospital as an Assistant Nurse Practitioner to which i learned and became very highly skilled at clinical duties and practises these skills in emergency situations within the Hospital.

Im just under two metres tall and well built but although there are those who believe this to be intimidating in the nursing sector, I have learned over my ten year experience the value in a calm approach especially in my mental health encounters to which im confidnet i am capable to excell in.
