I am a New Zealand trained Pharmacy assistant/ Dispensary Technician. I have worked in Pharmacy for more than15 years and am currently employed as Level 4 Technician with a Northern Gold Coast Pharmacy.  I have extensive front shop product knowledge and have held my current position for over 3 years.  I am looking for a change and a challenge. I am very adaptable and have been called on to work in many different roles over the years including a Photo minilab.  I am  a people person and enjoy seeing customers leave happy with the service and have spent a great deal of time making them feel the Pharmacy is "Their" Pharmacy and that they are a very important and valued customer.  I am able to deal sensitively with dispute resolution, have completed my S2 S3 training here in Australia and have contributed to an outstanding 99% result with QCPP. I am looking for a full time position preferably Monday to Friday but I am a team player and am happy to fill in for others when the need arises.

During my career in Pharmacy I have been privelaged to have started out as a junior front shop assistant learning the ropes from the bottom up I obtained certificates in sales, Hair care, cosmetic houses Revlon, Shiseido, Max Factor, Innoxa, Wella and Decore, progressing rapidly to a sole charge front shop position in small Pharmacy. It was during this time that I proved my abilities to learn quickly and adapt to challenges when my employer had a heart attack I worked closely with his wife and ran the business for them for a period of 3 months whilst he recovered.  As a thank you he promoted me to Dispensary where I undertook my training achieveing my Certification and continued to work with the business for a period of 6 years. After this I worked periodically in Pharmacy and unrelated ventures (Office, Supermarkets and Pharmacy) while raising my children.  I learned to run a Photographic Minilab in the Last Pharmacy I worked in, in New Zealand where I job shared  both front shop and Dispensary and filled in for the resident photographer whilst he was on leave.  It was a very busy pharmacy and was a great challenge and enjoyably diverse. Currently I am full time in the dispensary and I have a junior in training  working alongside.  My roll also involves banking and wages staff training, Claims etc I liase with other health professionals and  ensure continuity when we have locums working.
