• Key player in implementing a certification process for ISO 9001:2000 Quality System for a research laboratory. Results achieved by improving the existing system and implementing new practices and procedures.

• Developed and implemented knowledge management software for a group of interconnected research laboratories at the French Atomic Energy Commission as part of a project undertaken for a Masters Degree in Quality Management. This new system provided customers with a significantly quicker first feedback and contract offer regarding feasibility, costs and required time for sample analyses. As a result of the project’s success and my outstanding academic results, I was offered a permanent position in a consulting firm working on another project for the French Atomic Energy Commission.

• Managed a project concerning the evolution of existing fatigue crack growth for crankshafts in a new range of diesel engines for PSA Peugeot Citroen. Established non propagation of the cracks via both experimental and theoretical work, giving rise to final validation of the crankshafts. This in turn resulted in considerable savings, notably the costs associated with redeveloping the part and delaying the car production launch.
