I am a tertiary educated financial services professional with over 25 years experience in the banking and wealth management sectors.

My banking career commenced as a Teller with full job rotation within the retail and commercial banking divisions. I have been a Branch Manager and ended my banking career as the District Operations Manager. Subsequently, I commenced a 10 year Financial Planning career which involved continous education,intensive client and portfolio management skills together with advanced report writing requirements. I have owned my own Financial Planning business.

I am currently having a break, but wish to re-enter the workforce in some capacity that will utilise my experience and portfolio of skills.   

ANZ Banking Group - accepted into Graduate programme with fast tracking through retail banking roles. Achieved Corporate/Commercial Banking Officer status within 4 years. Entrusted with portfolio management and lending discretion at age 31.

Managed a CBD retail branch with responsibilty for deposits//lending,staff,internal audit,compliance and business development.

Promoted to District Operations Manager to support the District Executive manage the activies of 17 branch's and approx. 170 staff.

This encompassed every element of retail banking ranging from human resource management,customer dispute resolution,monitoring of KPI's to general administrative duties.

AMP - successfully transitioned from Banker to an Adviser which was a more relationship focused role. Very quickly learned the new products and substantial technical knowledge required. Gradually built a client base through proactive marketing,referrals and own generated leads. Continued to increase assets under management which allowed transfer to self employed status after a few years. Progressed to a small business owner with my own Financial Planning practice serviicng existing clients and procuring new customers. The business operated for 5 years as a "one man band". The business remained viable but was constricted by economic downturn and unable to survive circa 2009.
