I finished technical school metric in 1994 with electrical as my main subject and went over to technical college for further studies and part-time student work at municipality electrical department .

After my first semester I were selected by Iscor(Mittal steel)for electrical apprenticeship and also qualified after almost 4 years with good exposure

 As an artisan I grew as shift electrician on 50 ton 90mva arc furnaces in the steel melting industry with all its raw material batch plant processes as well as overhead crane operation and availability of them.

The plant process with cooling necessities, pressures and flows also became a part of critical importance and all were very stimulating to maintain and control

I left Iscor for financial gain after 10 years and started at African rainbow minerals ARM (Anglo Vaal) were I worked my way up to Charge Hand and then to Electrical Maintenance foreman

Rebuilds of overhead cranes and furnaces to newer technology were one of the main things to stay ahead with the business and were proud to rub off experience from Iscor  

This all were a good learning curve for me as I also had allot of mechanical and process responsibilities and is still here to date   

Major achievements in my courier were the ability to grow in myself and the ability to work with people and understand them .

I believe machines can be fixed or changed, but people you need to understand how they function and from there you can make them grow and pick the fruit from it

Lastly but the biggest achievements were after major upgrades of plants and overhead cranes or process related problems the teamwork and innovations that went with it ,the respect I
