Overview
I completed year 12 at Campbelltown High School in 1976. I then gain employment with Coles Supermarkets as a stockhand at their Norwood store. after 3 months was placed at Pt. Adelaide as a trainee manager. For the next 33 years i held various lower level Management roles and eventually becoming a Store Manager from 1983-90. Due to family reasons i stepped down in 1991 to spend more time with my children. From 1991 to 2007 managed varios departments with the supermarkets ranging from Dairy, Bakery to Fresh produce. In 2007 i was appointed a Regional Manager of Fresh produce responsible for 13 stores within an Area Murray Bridge to Adelaide region. In 2008 the position became redundant I commenced back in stores as a Fresh Produce Manager. 2010 saw me leave Coles to join Woolworths as a Fresh Produce 2IC. At the time I was looking for a fresh challenge as I had been with Coles for nearly 34 yrs.
Achievements
i worked myself up through Coles Smkts from stockhand to Store Manager inside 7 years.After stepped down from Store Management worked from self up from a Fresh Produce Manager to a Regional Manager. I am proud to say that I took a positive approach to all challenges set for me throughout my career at Coles.
