After working in nursing for the past 5 years i realized that i had a good raport with people and a great empathy for them . And so i went and did a communtiy welfare course at TAFE . This course taught me how to communicate at a positive level with people and their families . It also taught me how important ethics are in the welfare industry and also in life in general . We learnt how to run groups and how to address individual issues that may arise for clients . I found this course invaluable and will take all lessons learnt from TAFE into the workforce with me .
