Co-investigator- Survey of Prevalence of Refractive Errors among children in Primary & Junior High school in Northern and Southern Ghana.

Senor Research Officer at the Research and Development Division of the Ghana Health Service and the coordinator for Active Management of Third Stage of Labor AMTSL, initiated by the UNAIDS in collaboration with the Research and Development Division of the Ghana Health Service. . Supervised the recruitment and training of field observers for the AMTSL project. These observers are trained safe-motherhood facilitators who have been trained over the years to be training other midwives on safe motherhood programs in the country. . Coordinated the field activities and data collection in nine regions of Ghana. Coordinated the study team which visited selected health facilities in the country to assess the practice of AMTSL over a period of 24hours at each facility. . Reviewed the National Standard Treatment Guidelines, the Essential Medicines List and medical, National Safe Motherhood Service Protocol NSMSP documents and Pre- service curriculum for doctors and nurses. . Submitted a written report on study findings to the funders. . Dissemination of study finding by Power point presentation on both AMTSL base and end line studies.
