Overview

Working in the Hospitality and the service industry have always been my passion from a very young age. I started out working at Mcdonalds as a 16yr old. After successful completetion of Year 11, I went to the Gordon Tafe to do a hospitality course. After successful completion of the Advanced Certificate in Hospitality I was reccommended for a job at the Hilton in Melbourne in the Gallery Restaurant and was made their youngest ever restaurant supervisor at the age of 19. I left the Hilton at the age of 21 to pursure my dream of a working holiday in Europe. When I returned to Australia I obtained a position at the Melbourne Concert Hall as a restaurant supervisor

Whilst taking time off to have my daughter I completed a reception/front office training course and commenced a position at the Vue Grand Hotel as a receptionist. 

Whilst commencing my social work degree at Deakin University, I began working with the Salvation Army in their community access program. Working with people who have disabilities to reconnect with the community. It was thru this position that I was asked to work as a receptionist at the Family Support Services of the Salvation Army in Geelong.  In Brett Bedson (my former manager) observed my work and offered me a new position at the Salvation Army Grovedale motel for homeless peopleas the Front Office/Administration assistant. In this position I was responsible for the day to day operation of the motel- 12 rooms, reservations, check ins. Client presented with
