Khodor Alaywan's Resume

Adelaide, South Australia Australia

Overview

Working in the field of information technology for 10 years, I’ve had the chance to accumulate a diversified experience that contributed to my personal growth.
At the start, I worked as a programmer/analyst for 2 years and developed and improved applications that satisfied our customer needs. Programming was a real character builder for me; it taught me patience, dedication, hard work and attention to details.
My next job was support. For 3 years, I was in contact with users over the phone. Although support is morally exhausting and monotonous, but it did teach me to multi-task and to handle pressure while keeping a positive disposition at all times.
As I proved myself as an initiative and smart individual, I was promoted to be part of the applications and database administration team. At this stage, I was able to communicate professionally and to notice the value of team work.
2 years after, I got a better job offer, and I joined another company as a senior application and systems administrator which is my current job. Today, I am handling projects of which I am responsible of for administration and business continuity.
Thanks to my expansive personality, each time I was rendered a responsibility I was capable of adjusting to surmount the new challenges and provide an added value for myself and my employer.
