Overview
I have seventeen years experience in a General Practice administration role. I worked my way up from Junior Receptionist to Office Supervisor through to Practice Manager. I have been Practice Manager since 2003 and have been learning new skills through my whole career so far.
My experience includes a wide range of Administrative skills including reception duties, supervising staff, reporting financial and statistical data to our corporate office, payroll, banking, rostering, consumables ordering, OHS requirements, accreditation, audio typing, quality improvement and complaints management.
Achievements
I implemented quick reference guides for daily, weekly and monthly task for all the different roles within our practice. These guides have since been implemented into the other medical centres in our corporate network.
I have completed three cycles of accreditation which is a quality improvement exercise for General Practices that enables practices to claim government incentives.
I presented a talk on Self Esteem and Stress Management to the Practice Manager's within our corporate network. i was then asked to present the same talk to the 2IC's as well as some of the staff at certain medical centres through the network.
