After completing High School in a small country town in 2003, I studied Arts/Science for a year then transferred to a Bachelor of Physical Education, which I graduated with a Distinction in 2008.

During the years I was studying I worked many different part time jobs, mainly in the hospitality industry, from waitressing, to bar work. I also worked in coaching and nannying for the majority of this time.

After graduating in 2008 I worked at Ashwood Secondary College as a P.E teacher for 2 years, where I took on many additional responsibilities, including curriculum writing, coaching, and mentoring student teachers. I taught the ages from 12 to 17years old.

I have alway's worked with people, children, parents, customers etc. therefore have learnt to deal with many different personality types. This and my strong work ethic, I believe are my greatest stregnths in a working environment.

- Developing a year long alternative physical education program for year 10's, and then delivering it with success, having it stay in  the curriculum despite my leaving the school.

- Acheiving results from children who don't believe in themselves, through perseverance and constant reassurance.

- Working alongside other staff memebers to create new and improved curriculum and ideas.

- Working with student teachers to help prepare them for teaching.

- Volunteering in a refugee camp, putting over 50 kids in schools
