Orientating new staff, casual and agency staff and establishing their scope of practice . Mentor to the new 2nd year graduate nurses . Maintain leadership role within the unit . Developing excellent communication skill . Maintaining and analyzing my own educational need . Caring for patients on Bi-Pap and C-Pap . Dealing with end of lifeAs part of our contract we can be moved to any area to cover staffshortages. I am regularly sent to work in our busy emergency departmentwhere I have gained skills in trauma management.

Project Officer Redevelopment office Joondalup Health CampusThis was a secondment to the redevelopment department to assist incommissioning the two new wards and the construction within the existingbuilding. I was responsible for ordering all new equipment and all relevanttraining for staff. Also I had to liaise with the building company tomaintain deadlines. Then finally co-coordinate the move of two very busyexisting wards to their new location, this involved the transfer of overone hundred patients over a two day period. This was done successfully andwith minimum interruption to patient care.
