Overview
Mahla is a student of Como Secondary College and is currently at year 11. She has worked as a check out cashier for a period of one year at Woolworths Limited in Subiaco. The cause of her quitting was due to her determinations towards great results in year eleven. Mahla would like to study either Mechanical or Electrical engineering at MIT. She would then like to apply to become an astronaut as it is her dream. In her spare time Mahla choreographs dance to music she enjoys listening to and from time to time Mahla enjoys playing the violin as it calms her nerves down before the exams.
Playing sports such as basketball, tennis and indoor floor hockey is one of her many passions. Eventhough she does not play these sports out of school, she enjoys going to the Curtin University Gym in the mornings before school hours. Mahla is focused and determined in what she aims towards. To achieve her biggest goal, becoming an astronaut, she is trying to widden her knowledge as much as possible and NYSF is a great way for her to achieve that.
Achievements
The major skill that one can achieve from a job is the expirience. Mahla has gained better communication skills and her confidence has been boosted up due to this expirience. Inviting strangers to be involved in a conversation with her changed her views of life and that is now motivating her to strive towards her goals.
