I am a hard working individual, I am able to work in high stress environments under conditutions relevant to that of a financial institution. I am self motivated and am able to work without supervision to meet deadlines and achieve set goals for a period.

I enjoy playing sports, I matriculated from Hilton College (http://www.hiltoncollege.com) in 2002 and have been working in a Networking position ever since, I have fulfilled the roal of the PCI compliance officer, Head of Network Services and Head of Infrastracture planning and implementations in my time at my present employer, and as such posess a strong passion for IT related security systems and such.

My passion lies in security and Networking, I am able to achieve my goals and will always deliver on time !

1. PCI Compliance
   - Fulfilled the roal of PCI Compliance Officer for 6 years for Destiny Electronic Commerce (Pty) Ltd.
   - Responsible for the creation of a comprehensive company security policy, encomposing all aspects of PCI compliance in relation to the financial processing services provided by Destiny as a PSP.
   - Implemented system wide security measures to ensure PCI compliance, implementations included both Windows, Linux and Unix based systems as well as all hardware based devices such as the IPSec vpn firewalls used or the 3Com routers used to power the Frame-Relay connectivity through to third party providers.
   - Strong knowledge of Security best practise policies and procedures.
    
2. Sonicwall CSSA
   - Achieved one of the first certified Sonicwall CSSA qualifications in South Africa.
   - Strong knowledge of VPN and IPSec technologies.
   - Strong knowledge of Routing and Firewall technologies such as IPS and IDS.
