Detailed Description:My job was to run the laundry department side of the dry cleaners, this included all labour and paper work associated with the job. My daily tasks included the washing, drying and folding of clothing brought in by the public, sports uniforms, table cloths, napkins etc from restaurants and cafe's but the biggest part of my job was the laundering of linen and Manchester from hotels and motels around the Hawkes Bay from face cloths to feather down duvets, sheets were a big part of my day from washing, stain treatment, rewashing if necessary, drying and folding for press. I worked as long as i needed to get the orders completed from 6 hours a day during the slow season to 12 hours a day during the busy season, i did have help to fold sheets but apart from that i worked alone, under my own supervision.
