My name is David Cifelli and I am currently seeking a position as a Project Manager.
Expanding on this I am a qualified Site Manager, Carpenter and Joiner/cabinetmaker and Accredited
Housing Supervisor.
During the last 30 years I have studied and experienced almost every aspect of the building trade. I
have a vast knowledge and understanding of onsite supervision, construction methods, techniques
and build ability issues including planning practicalities and design solutions. My depth of experience
enables me to efficiently liaise with both clients and consultants to achieve the best possible results
for each particular project and their specific requirements.
I have worked for a number of Local Government Authorities, Builders and Contractors but I found
that the experience I have gained in my own business as a Carpenter and Joiner and as a Builder and
subsequently as a Site Manager/Supervisor building high quality single, double storey and multi story
apartment complexes, mixed use residences and commercial premises has given me a diversified
knowledge of the industry. I pride myself on being responsible for the building schedule, budget,
labour and resource management to ensure that each project is completed on time and on budget to
the highest possible quality.
I have studied extensively towards my Builders Registration and have completed all subjects, the
examination and my five years Management Supervision period and will be applying for my
registration in the near future. I am a Licensed Accredited Supervisor with the HIA and have
completed my Project Management Certificate studies with Edith Cowan University.
I am computer literate with excellent communication skills and telephone manner. I have had
extensive dealings with clients and tradespeople during my time as a Site Manager and always
conduct myself in a courteous and professional manner.
I have a keen eye for detail and pride myself in obtaining a high standard of quality finishings. I am
completely committed to this type of work and thrive on the challenges it presents.
