Worked in Childcare, Aged Care and Community Assistance before completing my Nursing Degree in 2007.  Worked within a hospital environment from 2007- 2009, which involved both working within a team as well as autonomously.  A large emphasis was placed on Infection Control and Occupational Health and Safety, as well as general nursing.  From 2007-2008 I was employed as a member of staff on an Orthopaedic/Surgical ward, where part of the shift required nursing staff to do a general clean and linen check, of each patient room as well as the pan and treatment rooms.  2009 was spent working solely on a Maternity Ward, where an additional nursing staff requirement was to tend to the Delivery Suites post-birth and ensuring they were properly cleaned and sterilised for subsequent labouring women.
