-Reviewing off documents(plans and specs) when we received them, date stamp them,mark originals for easy of chasing up missing docs.
-Document registration
-Creation of quotation request form
-Sectionalise trade by trade specs pages
-Determine the scope of works
-register of who to send docs for subies quotes
-ring subies,gauge their interest then send out the relevant drawings and specifications at least 3 subies per trade
-from there,start own take-offs to compare with the oncoming subies quotes
- tender due day seat next to the chief estimator carefully look for what he has missed out
