I was educated at Presbyterian Ladies College, Peppermint grove and passed all Board of Secondary education studies. Years there were from 1977-1981.

I then Went to Hartil  Underwood business college. 

I progressed onto 3 receptionists jobs including working for Dallhold investments (Bond Corporation) "front desk" for 3 years before moving on into my own businesses before Bond Folded in the mid 1980's.

My partner and I started up our own retail stores which started in the Subiaco markets then we progressed into owning 2 surf retail stores.  One was  in Fremantle and then after 2 years we opened up another shop in Claremont.

In these stores I managed the stors, bought for the stores many different labels and produced our own surf label.

I was involved in working and owning these stores until our first child Madison was born in 1999.

From 2000 to 2012 I was involved in our real estate business in South Fremantle whilst having my second child Archie in 2004.

I also started my own small business in 2011 importing and  selling jewellery from home with my own designs and have called the label, "purity".

 My achievements have been a quite varied and interesting but mostly involving management of people and sales.

Firstly working the front Reception dest for Bond corporation in the mid 1980's was extremely busy and main focal point was being able to handel a busy phone system relaying important messages to staff and of course being able to manage and greet people with professionalism and also be extremely courteous. 

After leaving Bond corporation in the mid 1980's My partner and I decided to follow a passion of ours to design clothing and to own our own retail outlets.

We started s small store in the Subiaco Markets selling our own printed surf  t designs and bought in other labels that were suited to sell along side them.  This store was extremely successful for us and we decided to open a much larger store in Fremantle retailing Big  surf wear labels along side our own.

This proved to be succesful and after 2 years opened a 2nd store in Claremont.

In this process I was involved in the fitout of both the  stores, stocking and buying for the stores, management of staff.

I was also merchandised both stores daily with window displays as often as possible. 

I was heavily involved in all floor sales to customers
