I am a mature woman who has bought up 2 children and has a passion for peoples rights and for living a life which you deserve and to your fullest.

For the last 6years I have been a carer for the physically and intilectualy disabled and for the elderly. I have been a senior Residential Support Worker which has enabled me to step into the role of acting manager as well.

I have done huge amounts of inhouse training and have invaluable experience, which has made me the person I am today. I have had to work with staff in coordinationg rostors, liase with familys of the people whoem I have supported, worked with people in their dreams and aspirations, been an advocate and a very good one as I believe in peoples right to live a normal life.

Achievements

The most valuable part of my career so far would have to be, being part of an amazing team of staff who all admired me as a person and their senior. This role gave me the confidence to be able to do anything and to take on any challenge. People listen to what I have to say because I am valued.
