finished 5th form Waimea College Nelson NZ (1975)  Started work as a Drainlayer got my registration within the first year.Moved to Australia after two years and live their fo ten years travelling around working at various jobs learning backhoe skills and drainage works mostly in Darwin and Melboune.

back to NZ(late 80s) to original company working as a foreman drainlayer operating backhoes and excavators.

Change of carreer early 90s as a parachute/skydive instructor travelling the world UK France USA and New Zealand also occasioally going back to my old trade in variuos place in off seasons as Drainlayer/ excavator operator.

2007 back to Constuction headed the Pike River Slurry Line (woking for Ching Contracting Nelson NZ) after the completion of that have been working for ferguson bros greymouth as on hands construction foreman mostly operating large excavators and overseeing contracts roading and construction.
