Before having a family I spent most of my career in the retail industry.  Starting from working in a department store for 6 years, during which time I became an assistant manager of the Toy and Childrenswear department.  Then on to managing a childrenswear shop for 18 months, before I moved house to another part of the country.  Then I worked in a Chandlery store for 3 years and a restaurant in the evenings.

I have always worked with the public and I am currently working as an assistant in the Dunsborough Library.  Covering any sickness and holiday the staff have.

While working in the department store I went on a St.John's Ambulance, First Aid course and became a First Aid officer attending to anyone with medical emergencies whilst in the store.
