I attended Gordonvale High School and Graduated in year 10

I started my first job in 1985 for the Malanda Milk Dairy Company, I was in Purchasing and Stock Control. Duties included Invoicing, Telephone, Stock Control, Purchasing, Debtors and Export. I finished in this position 7 years later in 1992 to have 2 beautiful sons.

My next position was at Enzed Cairns whom I was employed with for 13 years from 1993 until 2006, at Enzed I was employed as a Debtors clerk but throughout the 13 years progressed through many different positions. Duties included Debtors, Telephone, Banking & Bank Reconcilitation, Purchasing, Invoicing, Wages, Creditors & Reconcilition, Cash Flow and Debt Collecting.

My Husband and I purchased a Motorcycle Sales and Repair Business in 2005 in which I have run for the past 6 years as my Husband works in the mining Industry. Here I have become a jack of all trades from Business Owner and manager to spare parts and counter person as well as Salesman and sometimes even workshop foreman. As it is a small business I do all acounts Debtors and Creditors, BAS, Cashflow, stock control and purchasing. I have excellent computer and communication skills.

Running my own Business in the Motorcycle industry has been quite an acheivement, just to break through the male barrier was an excellent feeling. I loved the feeling also of acheiving something for myself and reaping the fruits of my labour.
