Achievements

1994 - 1st Class Honours in vertebrate palaeontology (geology and biology)

1995 - awarded a postgraduate scholarship to undertake a Ph. D.

2001 - appointed Curator of Richmond Marine Fossil Museum.

2002 - awarded a Queensland-Smithsonian Fellowship to undertake research and professional development at the Smithsonian Natural History Museum in Washington, D.C.

2003 - awarded a Ph. D. in vertebrate palaeontology

2006 - awarded an Australian Research Council Postdoctoral Fellowship to undertake palaeontological research through James Cook University, Townsville
