My name is Robert Dux, I am married with 3 adult children and 1 grand child. I have been in business since 1977 running and operating my own Building Company, Dux Builders Trust. We now operate out of an office/ factory at 5/11 Mclellan St, Bayswater and have been in this location for 6 years and in this area since we started. We employ 2 full time carpenters and 1 apprentice as well as a very reliable and professional team of sub contractors from all different trades.
Completed Year 11 at Boronia High School, Completed trade Certificate in Carpentry & Joinery (Top student overall course) Completed Certificate 3 OH & S, Certificate Level 2 First Aid, Almost completed Dip. Building & Building Surveyor course.
Over the years we have been involved with many different projects including; Pergolas and decks, extensions and renovations of homes, offices and factories, new homes, shops and dual residences, extensions and renovations of churches, schools and pubs. These projects have been around the eastern suburbs, Port Melbourne, Central Australia, Perth, Darwin and even PNG. We have been involved in work parties to third world countries, outback mission stations and aboriginal settlements.
Some of our achievments have been; Currently a 2 storey precast concrete shop in Boronia, Project managing a 2.5million renovation to Crossway Baptist Church, Sub contracting all the carpenrty component of the Boronia Baptist Church & Major building and renovation works at Old Colonists Association retirement Village in North Fitzroy.
