October to November 2010
Basil Farm – Gatton
Through an agency in Brisbane I was employed to work at the Basil Farm in Gatton as a picking assistant. During this time I picked onions and shallots and packed onions and potatoes.
Although I enjoyed this position, it was my decision to leave this employment as I would prefer to live and work in Brisbane.
October 2009 to June 2010
Yen Key Hospital, Taipei, Taiwan
I was employed by the hospital as permanent full time Administration Assistant. My duties included admitting and discharging patients into and out of the hospital. I was extremely efficient in using the hospital’s administrative computing program.
I greeted and talked to the patients ensuring that all their questions were answered and they felt at ease during their stay at the hospital.
Again, I really enjoyed this role and would still have been there today, but I have followed my dreams and come to Australia to live and learn about the Australian culture.
October 2008 to September 2009
Hess International Educational Organization, Taipei, Taiwan
Hess International is an educational facility for children aged six through to 17. They attend this facility after they have finished their day school to further supplement their education. My part-time role at this facility was in the administration office as a receptionist. My duties included typing, answering the phone, face to face enquiries with students and parents.

Whilst attending University as a student I also worked part-time at the University’s Library. My role their was a Library Loan’s Officer. I assisted students when borrowing and returning books. This position was computer based.
