I have a High School Education with a Sheet- Metal trade qualification specialising in stainless steel manufacturing & welding.I have been self employed since the age of 19, now 41 running companies for others for 5 years and for myself for the last 5 years.I have traveled overseas to complete projects  such as Building Breweries in Noumea , building shops all around Australia to Importing stock Directly from China for my current company whom i am the Director.I have had vast interaction with looking after & organising staff so i am confident i can fit in to any team .

Away from work , i am a father of a an 11 year old son who i set exampels for daily, in the way of sport,structure and routine.I train for and compete in Ironman Triathlon all around Australia and have represented our country and will again. I plan to keep training when you give me the chance to learn in the mining industry.I believe that being fit mentally and physically is a key to being proactive & productive.

 My achievements in my career are  varied, from seeing the completion of many projects to working with a team to build a common goal.Along with taking a business from being closed up to being profitable, also opening my own companies , they have a particular place of pride.

Outside of work , my family are great achievements along with representing my country in Ironman Triathlon.Everytime i complete an Ironman its an achievement as the distances are incredible, so it takes a huge commitment , sacrifice and dedication to get to the finishline, this is what i will bring with me.
