The rich nation of Australia was built on strong work ethics of sheer
hard work and discipline. In the past, heroic men and women defied the
elements of draught, flood, fire, the burning sun, and pestilence and
went into the forest to eke out a living, standing proud even in the
face of obstacles. In the process, they found a new nation. They were
courageous, tenacious, disciplined and had a will to work hard and live
their dream,their hope and future.

Through sheer hardwork and an unrelenting vision, Australia currently
feeds up un 50 times as many citizens as it fed in the Aboriginal era.
It also clothes millions of people across the seas and feeds millions
in other countries. Indeed, the development of Australia is one of
mankind's greatest achievements. It is an achievement with few equals
in the history of our adventure on earth. However, the country will be
no where without upholding its work ethics.

It is true the founding fathers of Australia faced with ruin and, as a
result, had to start again. No matter how hard they toiled under the
unforgiving sun, other harsh elements in Australia showed no mercy.
Nevertheless, discipline, diligence ( some of the values in the work
ethics)triumphed in the end.

Therefore, work ethics and discipline have played a significant role
in building a robust economy and ensuring continued rise of  western
civilization in Australia. Moral values are vital in an organized
society - their removal will only cause decay and system collapse. The
two most important of moral values are work and discipline, which is
why the country lays much emphasis on hard work as the solution to
poverty.

In Australia, hard work is held in high esteem because it leads to
productivity which in turn will continue to improve the economy. Work
produces wealth which benefits the entire economy and not just an
individual.

This explains why a federal commission is saddled with the task of
helping the Australian people while they uphold a code of ethics to
ensure Australia is safe for everyone. The commission requires, for
example, that certain confidentiality is maintained when handling
sensitive information about a person or a company. The Australian job
ethics meet those of international standards and upholds moral values
of kindness, hard work, honesty and integrity on the part of the
employer and the employee.
