Overview

An MBA post graduate degree holder with a graduate degree in engineering, I am seeking a career transition into a specialised procurement and strategic sourcing role. Having had over 35 years of work experience with the last 10 years in sourcing from end to end, contract management and category management with a focus on strategic business outcome, I add significant value to the business.

My recent role in strategic sourcing has resulted in a saving of over 15% in one category that translated to $10 million over 5 year period. In addition, the category management resulted in improved service levels impacting on the overall strategic business outcomes.

This resulted in a saving of over 15% of business spend amounting to $11 million over 5 year period.
  • Established auto windscreen supply source through strategic sourcing from end to end – from tendering process to selection through analysis, contract negotiations and balancing business expectations. The process also included implementation of the supplier transition, category management and ongoing operations support. This yielded a saving of over 10% in business spending amounting to $1 million over 6 year period.
  • Developed and implemented an exit strategy from a very complex supplier model. The implementation of the strategy yielded the business a saving of over $1 million on the budget. The processes included contract analysis, negotiations and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Conceptualised and project managed the implementation of enhanced service delivery from rental car supplier. The process involved balancing stakeholder expectations, negotiations and managing the project office. This project involved two organisations to be functional as a seamless entity to the end customer for the successful delivery of service. The project added great value to the customer and enhanced the brand image.
