My educational career started in 1959  in Ireland with primary Education until 1966. Secondary Education from 1966-1971. I then joined the Airforce in 1971 as an apprentice Aircraft Mechanic. I left in 1978 after completing my apprentiship. I joined Irish Helicopters as a Helicopter Engineer in1979 and stayed until 1994 when our Company closed. In 1994 I joined Gulf Helicopters in Doha, State of Qatar as a Helicopter Engineer. With Gulf Helicopters I worked in India, Yemen, Sudan, Kish Iran in charge of their outstations and also as a shift supervisor at the main base in Qatar. I left Gulf Helicopters in 2008 and moved to Falcon Aviation Services in Abu Dhabi holding the position again of Licenced Helicopter Engineer on their fleet of Bell 412s.
