In the last ten years of my working life I have come full circle,back where I started thirty years ago,in the Horticulture Industry.Originally I spent two and a half years in  Parks and Gardens in a council situation,where I was quickly promoted to 1st Grade gardenner.

Having had an apprenticeship in a family retail situation  I moved into the retail sector for a few years, eventually ending up in stores and warehousing where I attained certificates , licenses and skills .I  was always quickly promoted in any new position I attained.Mostly working in middle management.

I decided to reeducate myself in the Horticulture field in which, I as a boy and teenager had a very firm interest .

I attained my Horticulture certificate and started my own business in 1999 which is still operating today. I have continued with my education in the Horticulture field, I am into my third tafe certificate now.

My first position outside of the family business was with Burwood Council,where I was quickly promoted to 1ST Grade Gardenner. I was given half of Burwood Park to maintain.I also worked on the man made stream and lake that was built in the West and North areas of the park.

I than moved into retail having the basic knowledge from the family business,and took on management roles in liquor Store,Giftware Shop and  Market Manager.I also lent to the Hospitallity industry where I attained positions of BarUseful,Bartender  Bar Manager and Cellarman

Moving into Stores and Warehouseing I achieved the following positions.Head Warehouseman, Afternoon Shift Supervisor and Warehouse Manager.

One of my best achievements was as Supervisor in a disabled workshop with disabled people.

But my greatest achievement was as the leading Supervisor to build The Sensory  Park Walk in the Gosford Shire,teaching and training long term unemployed people to motivate them to return to the workforce insitu.The park was built with a theme of the other senses touch, scent, etc.

My latest achievements have been my re-education and reintroduction to Horticulture.
